Technical Engineer (Nigeria Local Hire)

Responsibilities

1. Lead on-site installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of energy storage systems (lithium batteries, inverters, BMS/EMS), ensuring compliance with company standards and local electrical codes.

2. Serve as the first point of contact for customer technical issues; diagnose and resolve faults remotely (phone/online tools) or via on-site visits.

3. Conduct operation & maintenance training for customers and their operators; help develop localized training materials and manuals when needed.

4. Collect and relay clear, timely field feedback to HQ R&D and Sales on product performance, recurring issues, and local market needs.

5. Coordinate with logistics and local service partners to ensure spare parts and service activities are delivered on time.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related field.

· 1-2+ years of hands-on field service experience in energy storage, UPS, solar inverters, or power systems.

· Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory for professional communication).

· Strong face-to-face communication in English plus at least one of Hausa / Yoruba / Igbo.

· Prior experience with international companies or technical projects in Nigeria / West Africa is highly preferred.

· Strong customer service orientation and communication skills; comfortable with frequent travel and outdoor work.
